Front door
To remove the door, open it completely by supporting it along the lower edge on bars or racks.
Disconnect the wire connector from the front edge of the door.
Use a suitable tool to knock out the roll pin from the door stop (pic. 11.3).
If necessary, remove the plastic caps from the hinge pins, then knock them out with a punch. It is necessary that an assistant hold the door while removing the axles. Remove the door from the car.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, however, a new roll pin of the door opening limiter must be installed.
The door hinges are welded to the door frame and to the body pillar, eliminating the possibility of adjustment.
If the door moves up and down due to worn hinge pins or holes, you can ream the holes and insert larger diameter pins.
The tightness of closing the door can be adjusted by the latch of the lock on the body pillar using a socket wrench.
Backdoor
On models with centralized locks, remove the interior trim panel, disconnect the wiring contacts inside the door. Note the wire routing and connector location, then carefully route the wires through the rubber grommet in the front edge of the door.
Do the operations described in the third and fourth paragraphs of this section.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. It is only necessary to install a new cylindrical pin for the door opening limiter.
Make sure that the wires and plug connectors are located in the same way as before removal.
