Backdoor
Open the back door completely.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
Disconnect screws and take out facing panels of a back door.
Disconnect all wires that are now open for access, as well as, if necessary, the fluid supply hose to the washer.
If the same rear door will be installed, tie up the ends of all wires and, if necessary, the washer fluid supply hose, then pass them through the top of the door.
Let your assistant hold the door on weight. You can now separate the rear door support legs from the ball joints as shown below.
Remove the clips from the rear door hinge pins.
Having carefully supported the door, knock out the hinge pins from the hinges with a punch and carefully remove the door from the car.
When installing a new door, rearrange all suitable parts (rubber stops, lock mechanism, etc.).
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
If installing the same tailgate, run all the wires and the fluid supply hose to the washer (where required) through the door.
If necessary, fit the rubber stops on the rear door so that it closes.
If necessary, adjust the position of the latch of the lock on the body so that the lock works satisfactorily.
A loop
Remove the rear door as described in this section.
Remove the rear roof lining, taking care to keep the clips intact, and move the trim back to access the rear door hinge screws.
Notice the location of the hinges on the body.
Loosen the screws and remove the hinge.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following.
Align the hinges according to the previously made marks on the body.
Install the tailgate as previously stated.
Support leg
Open the tailgate fully, having an assistant hold it.
Separate the strut from the ball joints by prying slightly on the spring rings and pulling it out.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
