Power steering fluid reservoir — removal and installation

The tank can be removed from the bracket by unscrewing the clamping screw and removing the clamp.

Prepare a suitable container for collecting liquid, then disconnect the hoses from the reservoir and drain the liquid. Plug the ends of the hoses to prevent contamination and fluid leakage.

You can remove the bracket from the body if you wish, but remember that on some models, the bracket bolts also secure the ignition coil and spark arrester (see chapter 5).

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, however, after bleeding the hydraulic circuit, as described above.
