Remove the steering column cover as directed in chapter 10.
Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "II".
Insert a thin rod into the hole in the lock body, then press the rod to release the spring latch, and remove the lock cylinder with the key (pic. 10.19.).
The installation of the lock is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
Removal and installation of the lock cylinder, carried out as described below, are part of the assembly and disassembly of the steering column.
