Radio and cassette player — removal and installation

All Astra models are equipped with radio/cassette players with standard DIN·mountings. the removal of which requires special tools purchased at the point of sale of the equipment.

Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

Remove the four grub screws from the corners of the radio/cassette player using a socket wrench.

Insert the countersunk screw remover and press down on them. until they click into position, pull the tools towards you (from the dashboard), to disconnect this device.

Remove the device from the dashboard.

To install a radio/cassette player, simply slide this unit into the dashboard until the latches click into place. Then install the hidden screws.
