Components of the crankcase gas control system

If there is a suspicion of a malfunction in the system, it is necessary, first of all, to check the condition of the hoses, inside which jelly-like deposits may appear. In this case, the hoses must be removed and cleaned.

You can remove the crankcase breather pipe from the cylinder block after disconnecting the hose. Install a new gasket during installation. Note that on some engines the bayonet gauge tube is integral with the crankcase breather tube.

On some models, a strainer is installed under the camshaft cover, which should be washed with kerosene if it is clearly dirty.
