Carefully pull out the heating/ventilation control box, taking care not to strain the control cables and wiring.
Loosen the clamps and disconnect the control cables from the temperature switches (one cable), air distribution (two cables), noticing their location.
Disconnect the plug located behind the unit.
Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the back of the air recirculation switch, noting their location.
The heating/ventilation control unit can now be removed from the vehicle.
If desired, you can replace the light bulb of the heater control switch.
The blower motor switch and recirculation switch can be removed from the control box by loosening it after removing the switch handle.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal; pay attention to the following.
Check if the control cables are connected securely. Check the operation of the controls before installing the center console.
