Removal and installation of the parking brake lever

1. Remove the cover of the center console and the protective cover of the lever.

2. Completely unscrew the adjusting nut.

3. Remove the center console (see chapter Body).

4. Remove the gauge switch of a control lamp of a cocking of a parking brake (see Removal, installation and adjustment of the gauge-switch of stoplights).

5. Give nuts of fastening of the lever.



6. Release the plastic clips at the base of the lever assembly and remove the latter.

7. Remove the base plate in front of the drive cable and remove the spacer.

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Finally, adjust the parking brake actuator (see Parking brake actuator adjustment).
