Removing
1. Using a screwdriver, carefully remove the vacuum hose with adapter from the front of the brake booster servo assembly.
2. Disconnect the hose from the inlet pipeline (petrol models) / vacuum pump (diesel models). Remove the hose from the vehicle.
3. Hose sections can be replaced individually, separately from the valve and adapters. Use a sharp knife to cut the hose from the corresponding part. Cut a piece of new hose of the appropriate length and pull it tightly over the part - note that the check valve is installed with the arrow printed on it to the inlet pipeline.
Examination
1. Check the non-return valve, hoses and adapters for mechanical damage, replace defective elements. The check valve can be checked by blowing from each side. In one direction, the valve must pass air freely, in the opposite (from booster to pipeline/pump) - do not skip at all. A defective valve must be replaced.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order.
1. The valve is established by the arrow put on it to the inlet pipeline.
2. Finally, start the engine and check the vacuum connections for signs of leaks. Check the functioning of the vacuum booster (see Check of serviceability of functioning/tightness, removal and installation of assembly of the vacuum amplifier of brakes).
