Removing
1. Remove the steering tip (see Removal and installation of tips of steering draughts), - to remove the right link, you will need to remove both steering tips and both anthers.
2. If necessary, remove the locker and the protective panel of the wheel arch.
3. Release the mounting clamps and remove the thrust boot (see paragraph 1).
4. Having turned the steering wheel all the way to the appropriate side, completely release the link from the steering mechanism, - mark the outer surface of the link mounting and the rack to mark the angle of tightening the connection (see below Installation, item 1).
5. Holding the rail from turning by the flats with an open-end wrench, unscrew the body of the internal connection of the rod with the rail - use a large adjustable wrench or «Swedish women».
Installation
1. Clean the threaded parts of the components and lubricate them with an anaerobic fixative sealant. Screw the inner hinge of the rod onto the rail and tighten with the required force - the design makes it difficult to use a torque wrench, so use pre-applied marks.
2. Install the dust boots by pulling the inner end onto the rack housing, the outer (narrow) fix the end in the traction groove. If necessary, replace the mounting clamps.
3. If equipped, reinstall the locker and wheel arch protection panel.
4. Install the tie rod ends (see Removal and installation of tips of steering draughts).
5. At the first opportunity, drive the car to a specialized car service workshop to check and adjust the toe-in of the front wheels.
