Main saloon lamp
Interior lighting is switched on when any of the vehicle doors are opened. After the door is closed, the switch-off occurs immediately or after a delay (with appropriate vehicle equipment).
In the second case, turning on the ignition leads to an immediate shutdown of the lighting.
To turn on the lighting in a constant mode, pull the rotary switch for controlling the functioning of external lighting devices (see illustration Appearance of the switch for controlling the functioning of external lighting devices / running lights / instrument lighting).
Illumination of instruments and function switches
Instrument lighting and function switches are activated simultaneously with the navigation lights (see Dashboard, Switch for controlling the operation of the operation of external lighting / running lights / instrument lighting, item 1).
The backlight of the information display screen is activated when the ignition is switched on, the backlight intensity is adjusted by a rotary-lever potentiometer mounted to the right of the fog lamp/fog lamp switches (see illustration Appearance of the switch for controlling the functioning of external lighting devices / running lights / instrument lighting).
Front navigation lamps
The front navigation lamps are located on both sides of the main saloon lamp and are equipped with individual switches.
Rear interior lamps
As standard, the rear interior lights are located on the sides of the ceiling section of the cabin directly above the rear door openings and are equipped with individual three-position slide switches. The middle position of the switch corresponds to the off state of the lamps, in the rear position of the slider the lamp is on, moving the slider forward switches the lamp into operation mode when the rear door is opened.
On models equipped with head airbags, the rear cabin light is moved to the center of the roof section and has two individual rocker switches. In this case, the switched off state of the lamp corresponds to position 0 of the switch, the switched on position corresponds to position I, while moving the key to the middle position leads to the operation of the lamp when the corresponding rear door is opened.
