Generator drive belt tensioner — removal and installation

1. Raise the front of the car and remove the right wheel.

2. Remove the air filter.

3. Remove the tensioner with a key, overcoming the force of the spring, and remove the belt.

4. Remove the bolt (or 2 bolts) and remove the tensioner from the alternator strut.

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Install the tensioner so that the tensioner pins fit into the holes in the rack (see photo). If the tensioner is fastened with 2 bolts, then the pins are not provided on it.
