1. It is advisable to change the oil immediately after a trip so that the engine and gearbox are warmed up to operating temperature.
2. Park the vehicle on a level surface, apply the handbrake and turn off the ignition. Raise the front of the car and place on stands.
Remove the lower engine/gearbox guard.
3. Wipe the differential pan and place a vessel under the pan. Working with gloves, evenly and gradually unscrew the bolts and remove the pan (see photo). After the oil drains into the vessel, wipe the split plane and install the pan in place, replacing the gasket.
4. The gearbox is refueled through the opening of the reverse switch (see photo). When finished, tighten the switch to the specified torque.
