Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door

You will need: screwdrivers with a flat and cross-shaped blade.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Prying off the plug with a screwdriver..



3.... take it off..



4.... and unscrew the upper upholstery fixing screw.



5. Remove the screw securing the power window control unit to the armrest..




6.... remove the unit from the socket in the armrest..



7.... press the clamp of the wiring harness block..



8.... disconnect the wiring harness block from it and remove the block.



9. Prying off the edge of the armrest trim with a screwdriver..




10.... remove the lining, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders.



11. Through the holes in the armrest, turn out the middle..



12.... and the lower upholstery fastening screws.



13. Prying off the rear lower edge of the upholstery with a screwdriver..




14.... disconnect the upholstery from the door, overcoming the resistance of the holders.



15. Remove the holder of the rear upper door trim from engagement with the door upholstery..



16.... and disconnect the pad.



17. Disconnect the upholstery from the door, overcoming the resistance of its holders.

Note. This is how the front door upholstery holders are located.

18. Pry off the latch of the latch of the lock drive cable sheath with a screwdriver..



19.... remove the tip from the stop on the body of the inner door handle..



20.... and disconnect the tip of the cable from the handle lever.



21. Press the clamp of the wiring harness block of the joystick for controlling the exterior mirrors..



22.... disconnect the block from the joystick and remove the door trim.



23. Establish an upholstery of a forward door in an order, the return to removal.
