Front door glass replacement

You will need a flat blade screwdriver.

1. Remove the front door upholstery (see Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door).



2. Pry off the harness holder with a screwdriver..



3.... and remove the holder from the hole in the inner door panel.



4. Peel off the moisture-proof film from the inner door panel.


5. Connect the power window control unit to the power window control wiring harness block (see Removal and installation of an upholstery of a forward door).



6. Set the glass of the front door to the position where the rear..



7.... and the front clamps for attaching glass to the sliders will be located opposite the technological windows in the door panel.



8. Holding the glass with your hand, press alternately with a screwdriver on the glass latches, disconnect it from the sliders..




9.... and remove the glass from the door by pulling it up and turning it in the doorway, as shown in the photo.



This is how the holes in the glass are located for its attachment to the sliders.



The glass is marked. When replacing, purchase glass with the specified marking.

10. Establish glass of a forward door and all removed details in an order, the return to removal.
