Replacing tailgate stops

You will need a flat blade screwdriver.

1. Open the tailgate and lock it in the open position (e.g. with a piece of wood of suitable length) or ask an assistant to support the door.



2. Using a screwdriver, remove the latch..



3.... and disconnect the upper hinge of the stop from the support on the door bracket.



4. Having prying with a screw-driver, remove a clamp of the bottom hinge of an emphasis, disconnect the hinge from a support on a body and remove an emphasis.

5. Remove the second stop in the same way.

Attention! Do not try to disassemble the removed stop, as it contains compressed gas under high pressure. A stem suddenly flying out of the stop can cause serious injury.

6. Establish an emphasis of a door of a back in an order, the return to removal.
