Replacing the rear door lock

You will need: TORX wrenches T20 and T30, flat blade screwdriver.



1. Raise the glass to its highest position and remove the tailgate upholstery (see Removal and installation of an upholstery of a back door).



2. Peel off the waterproof film from the inner door panel.



3. Turn out two screws of fastening of the supporting arm of an upholstery of a door …




4.... and remove the bracket.



5. Unfasten the latch of the outer handle rod holder and disconnect the rod from the door lock lever.



6. Turn out three screws of fastening of the lock to a back end face of a door.



7. Use a screwdriver to pry off the edge of the lock rod seal..




8.... remove the seal from the hole in the door panel and remove from the rod.



9. Remove the lock from the technological hole in the inner panel of the door.



10. Having pressed the latch..



11.... disconnect the block of the wiring harness for the electric lock of the front door lock from the lock..




12.... and remove the lock.



13. Establish the lock of a back door and all removed details in an order, the return to removal.
