Removal and installation of a forward seat

You will need: TORX T50 wrench, socket «on 10».

Note. The work is shown for the left seat, the right seat is removed in the same way.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Move the seat on the skid all the way forward (see Front seat adjustment).



3. Loosen the two bolts securing the skid to the base of the body..

Note. This is how the front seat mounting bolts are located.

4.... and turn out the bolts.




5. Loosen the fastening of the lower point of the seat belt to the sled..



6.... remove the bolt..



7.... and disconnect the belt yoke from the seat.



8. Raise the rear of the seat..




9....slide it back and bring out the hooks at the bottom of the sled (the hook on the left sled is shown in the photo with an arrow, the hook on the right sled is located similarly) from grooves in the base of the body.



10. Move the seat to the side and fold out the cut-out piece of floor carpet underneath that reveals the seat harness connector.



11. Slide the latch lock…




12.... press the latch..



13.... and disconnect the seat wiring harness block.



14. Remove the seat from the car.

15. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal. Apply an anaerobic threadlocker to the seat bolts before installation.
