You will need: end head «on 10», TORX T50 wrench, flat blade screwdriver.
1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery, as the seat belts are equipped with pretensioners.
Attention!
- After disconnecting the wire from the terminal «minus» battery, you must wait at least 15 minutes, only after this time you can proceed to remove the seat belt equipped with a pretensioner.
- Dismantling of belt tensioners is prohibited.
- Do not allow the belt reels with pretensioners to fall and get water and oil into them.
- Do not expose belt pretensioners to temperatures above 95°C.
2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a seat belt to a sled of a forward seat …
3.... turn the belt yoke down to align the enlarged part of the hole in the yoke with the pin on the seat slide..
4.... and remove the yoke from the finger.
5. Remove the trim from the yoke.
6. Pry off the upper edge of the threshold lining..
7.... and remove the lining, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders.
8. Pry off the bottom edge of the B-pillar trim..
9.... and disconnect it from the rack, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders.
Note. This is how the brackets for the B-pillar trim are located.
10. Remove the two tabs at the top of the center pillar trim from the holes in the pillar and pull the trim away from the pillar.
11. Pass the buckle into the hole in the lining..
12.... and the belt yoke, remove the lining.
13. Turn out a bolt of the top fastening of a seat belt to a slider of the mechanism for adjustment of a belt on height …
14.... and disconnect the belt buckle from the mechanism.
15. Using a screwdriver, remove the belt guide mounting clip from the hole in the B-pillar..
16.... and disconnect the rail from the rack.
17. Turn out a bolt of fastening of an inertial coil of a seat belt …
18.... and remove the coil from the rack cavity.
19. Prying off the retainer of the pretensioner wiring harness block with a screwdriver..
20.... pull the latch out of the block..
21.... disconnect the block from the pretensioner..
22.... and remove the belt.
23. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the mechanism for adjustment of a belt on height to the central rack …
24.... and remove the mechanism by removing the piston of its additional fastening (shown in the photo with an arrow) from the rack hole.
25. Install the seat belt and all previously removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
