Removal and installation of the switch of a pillow of safety of the forward passenger

You will need a flat blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Open the right front door.



3. Pry off the upper edge of the right instrument panel trim..



4.... and disconnect the overlay from the panel, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders.



5. Use a screwdriver to press the retainer of the front passenger airbag switch harness block..



6.... disconnect the block from the switch and remove the overlay.



7. Squeeze the two switch latches..



8.... and remove it from the hole in the decorative trim.



9. Install the front passenger airbag switch and all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
