Removing

1. Give coupling nuts (1) clamps on the right and left sides of the rod and remove the stabilizer.

Installation

1. Lubricate the rubber mount with silicone oil (OPEL No. 90 001 800 or 19 48 454). Replace the damaged rubber support.

2. Fasten the stabilizer in the area of the flats with clamps to the left and right rods and tighten the new self-locking nuts with a force 20 Nm. At the same time, observe dimension A between the inner bolt of the rod and the center of the rubber support.

Features of DOHC 1.0 and 1.2 L engines

1. Make sure the stabilizer is in the correct position: the right trunnion must point downwards in the installation position Dimension A, indicated in the illustration, for engines DOHC 1.0 and 1.2 l should be 110 mm.
