2. Carefully remove the wheel cover with a screwdriver.
3. Pull out the cotter pin on the castle nut.
4. To seat the bearing, tighten the castle nut to 25 Nm.

5. Move the hub several times in different directions so that the bearing is in the correct place.
6. Loosen the hub nut slowly so that the pressure washer can move slightly.

7. When loosening the nut, check the clearance in the wheel bearing. The clearance is set correctly if the thrust washer can only be moved slightly with a screwdriver.
In this case, the screwdriver must not rest on the hub when moving.
8. When installing the cotter pin, tighten the nut to the nearest cotter pin hole.
9. Check if the pressure washer can move. If not, loosen the nut to the nearest pin hole.
10. Insert a new cotter pin into the hole and bend its ends.
11. Fill the hub cap with lithium grease and then carefully install it with a new O-ring.
A deformed cover must be replaced, because due to leakage, moisture can penetrate into the wheel bearing and it can be destroyed.
12. Lower the vehicle to the ground.
