The tie rod ends are cut as right-hand, current and left-hand threads.
Removing
1. Mark the position of the front wheels in relation to their hubs so that the balanced wheel can then be installed in its original position. Turn out bolts of fastening of a wheel on the car standing on the earth. Jack up the front of the car, place it on jack stands and remove the front wheels.
2. Give a nut of fastening of a tip of steering draft to a rotary fist. Remove the tip using a conventional puller or OPEL KM-507 tool.

3.Measure the length (1) tie rod end and record the value obtained.

On models without power steering, length (1) should be 174±6 mm, and on models with power steering - 163±6 mm.
4. Give a counternut and turn out a tip.
Installation
1. Screw on the tip until the recorded value is obtained.
2. Install the tie rod end on the steering knuckle and tighten the new self-locking nut (1) with effort 35 Nm.

3. Check up and if necessary adjust convergence of forward wheels.
4. Tighten the handpiece locknut to 50 Nm.
5. Install the front wheels so that the marks made during removal match. Lower the vehicle and tighten the wheel bolts to 110 Nm.
