Corsa models
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see chapter 5).
2. Remove the upholstery of the corresponding door (see Section 23).
3. Separate the insulating film from the door frame as far as necessary to free access to the relevant parts.
4. On the rear door, remove the inner door handle (see Section 21). Using a mandrel, knock out the rivets on the rear door lock button lever, disconnect the lever and cable holder from the door assembly.
5. On a back door remove directing glass.
6. Disconnect the power window motor wiring connector (see resist. illustration).

7. Loosen the 2 nuts on the front door and remove the outside door handle mounting cup (see illustration 18.6).
Note: On the rear door, to remove the outside handle, you also need to remove the installation bowl.
8. On the front door, release and separate the door handle link from the lock latch and the drive link from the lock cylinder body (see illustration 18.6).
9. Remove 3 screws on the rear end wall of the door (see resist. illustration) and separate the lock from the door frame.

10. Disconnect the drive cable of the inner door handle and the lock release button (see resist. illustration).

11. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of removal. Replace the insulating film if necessary. Pay attention to the reliability of fixing cables and rods. Without slamming the door, check the operation of the locking mechanism.
Meriva Models
12. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery (see chapter 5).
13. Remove the door upholstery (see Section 23).
14. Separate the insulating film from the door frame as far as necessary to free access to the relevant parts.
15. Pull up the latch and disconnect the power window motor wiring connector on the door lock (see resist. illustration).

16. Remove 3 screws on the rear end wall of the door and separate the lock from the door frame (see illustration 18.9).
17. Disconnect the drive cable of the inner door handle and the lock release button (see illustration 18.10).
18. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of removal. Replace the insulating film if necessary. Without slamming the door, check the operation of the locking mechanism.
