Removal and installation of the clutch master cylinder

1. The clutch master cylinder is mounted on the rear bulkhead of the engine compartment.

2. Remove the clutch pedal (see Section 5).

3. Bring the level of the brake fluid in the reservoir to the mark «MAX», close the tank with the plug MKM-558-10.

4. Remove the retainer on the connecting fitting of the clutch master cylinder (see resist. illustration), place the hose connecting the cylinder to the reservoir, a wad of rags to collect spilled brake fluid and disconnect the hose from the reservoir.



5. Remove the clutch master cylinder (see illustration 1.1).

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Don't forget to bleed the hydraulic circuit (see Section 4).
