2. Give a nut of fastening of a tip of steering draft and by means of a special puller release the last from a rotary fist (see chapter 10).
3. Turn out a coupling bolt of a collar of fastening of a spherical support to a rotary fist and disconnect the right cross-section lever (see Section 3).
4. Loosen the right drive shaft hub nut (see section 2) and remove the pin of the outer CV joint from the hub assembly (see Section 3). Tie the shaft with wire.
5. Holding the hinge pin with an open-end wrench by the flats, give the lower fixing nut and separate the right vertical strut of the anti-roll bar from the stabilizer.
6. Using a pry bar, press the right drive shaft away from the intermediate (see resist. illustration).
4.6. Removing the right drive shaft (1) from a spline connection with an intermediate shaft using a pry bar (2)
7. Turn out 3 fixing bolts (see resist. illustration) and remove the intermediate shaft with mounting flange from the differential assembly through the intermediate support.
4.7. bolts (indicated by arrows) flange mounting (3) intermediate shaft to intermediate support (4)
8. Remove the snap ring from the pin of the intermediate shaft (see resist. illustration) and install a new one in its place.
4.8. Retaining ring (1) intermediate shaft
9. Installation is made in an order, the return to an order of removal. Thoroughly clean the splines of the shaft and the hole in the hub. Lubricate the packing lips and shaft studs with clean gear oil/ATF. When inserting the drive shaft into the differential assembly, do not damage the sealing gland - if necessary, use a mandrel (for example, Opel KM-6332). At the end of the operation, check the transmission oil level, if necessary, make the appropriate adjustment.
