Indicates a malfunction in the exhaust gas treatment device. It is possible to exceed the allowable exhaust parameters. Contact a workshop immediately for assistance.
Flashing when the engine is running
Indicates a malfunction that could damage the catalytic converter. Contact a workshop immediately for assistance.
Oil pressure
The signaling device burns after inclusion of ignition. It goes out shortly after starting the engine. It may light up briefly when the engine is idling, but should go out when the engine speed is increased.
Ignition while the engine is running
Indicates a possible cessation of engine lubrication.
This may damage it or block the drive wheels.
In this case, depress the clutch, shift the transmission to neutral, and on the automatic transmission and the Easytronic transmission, move the gear lever to position N. Move the car out of the traffic as soon as possible, without disturbing others, turn off the ignition (position I).
Note. When the ignition is off, significantly more effort is required for braking and steering.
Remove the key only after the vehicle has stopped, otherwise the steering wheel lock may engage unexpectedly.

Direction indicators
The corresponding indicator flashes when the direction indicator is on. Frequent blinking indicates a failure of one of the direction indicators. When the hazard warning light comes on, both indicators flash.
High beam
The signaling device lights up when the high beam is on and when the corresponding light signal is working.
Warm up on a diesel engine
The warning light comes on when the engine is warming up.
The heating system is only activated at low outside temperatures.
Driving modes with electronically controlled automatic transmission
The warning light comes on when the sport driving mode is on.

Rear fog lights

Power supply system

Ignition while the engine is running
Indicates that the battery may not be charged. It is also possible to detect the functioning of the engine cooling system. Contact a service station for help.
Brake system, clutch
The warning lamp illuminates after the ignition is switched on, if the parking brake is applied or the fluid level in the hydraulic system of the brakes and clutch is too low.
Burning with the parking brake released: indicates a malfunction of the brake system. At this point, you must immediately stop the car and seek help from a service station.
On vehicles with an Easytronic gearbox, when the parking brake is not applied, the warning lamp flashes for a few seconds after the ignition is switched off.
Engine oil level
Burning indicates that the oil level in the engine is too low. Check the engine oil level, top up if necessary.
Electric Power Steering ESP
The warning light stays on for a few seconds after the ignition is switched on. Lighting up while driving indicates a malfunction. Nevertheless, in this case, the train can continue. Steering requires a lot of effort. At the first opportunity, contact a workshop for assistance.
Trailer direction indicators
When operating with a trailer, the signaling device flashes at the frequency of the direction indicators. Does not flash when one of the direction indicators on the trailer or on the towing vehicle fails.
Tank gauge
The burning of the indicator indicates that the fuel supply is running out, the fuel supply indicator is in the reserve area.
The blinking of the pointer indicates that the fuel supply has been used up, it is necessary to refuel immediately.
Attention! It is strictly forbidden to drive to an empty tank.
Attention! On gasoline engines, uneven fuel delivery can cause the catalyst to overheat.
Attention! On diesel engines, after the tank is completely empty, it is necessary to remove air from the fuel system.
Seat occupied recognition system
The seat occupied recognition system deactivates the front passenger's front and side airbag systems if the front passenger's seat is not occupied or if a child restraint system is installed on the front passenger's seat «Opel» with transponders. The head airbag system remains activated.
The seat occupied recognition indicator is located on the instrument panel. If the warning light comes on for about 4 seconds when the ignition is switched on, then the vehicle is equipped with a seat occupied recognition system.
