Attention! Use caution when handling the electronically controlled power windows and power sunroof.
When closing the windows and retractable roof, be sure to observe the closing area. Make sure there are no objects that could be pinched.
Remove the ignition key before leaving the vehicle to prevent unauthorized use of the vehicle.
Door windows are activated by rotary handles.
Press the crank to open the swing window from the rear. To close, pull and lock the crank.
Electronic power window control
The windows in the driver's and front passenger's doors are controlled by two buttons on the driver's door handle. The additional key is located on the front passenger door handle.
Signaling devices in toggle switches show functional readiness.
For step-by-step operation, briefly press the key of the corresponding window. To open or close automatically, press the key for a longer time, to stop movement, briefly press the key again.
Safety function
If resistance occurs during the automatic closing of the glass above the middle of the window, the movement stops immediately and the window reopens.
If the movement is difficult, for example due to the presence of frost, press the button for the corresponding window in succession until the window closes in stages.
Closing windows from the outside
On vehicles with electronically controlled power windows, the front door windows can be closed from the outside by holding down the button on the remote control until the windows close.
Overload
If the operation is repeated too frequently, the power supply to the power window control is cut off for a while.
The system is protected by fuses in the fuse box.
Malfunction
If opening and closing windows is not possible, the electronic power window control system must be activated as described below.
1. Close the doors.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Fully open the windows.
4. Close the window and hold down the switch key for at least 5 s.
5. Repeat the procedure for each window.
