The car uses a load-bearing body structure designed to reflect the identity and originality of the brand, while at the same time improving the capacity, practicality and strength achieved in the production of previous models.
The body is made of steel elements by stamping.
Passive safety is provided by special deformable safety zones made of softer steel, as well as high-strength, fracture-resistant protective beams.
Most of the elements are connected by welding, but some components can be connected with mounting adhesive. The front fenders are fixed with bolts.
The hood, doors and some panels are made of zinc plated metal and then coated with a primer to repair paint chips prior to paint application.
Internal and some external body components are made of plastic. The front and rear bumpers, as well as the grille, are molded from high-strength, lightweight synthetic material. Plastic elements such as fender liner are fitted to the underbody to prevent corrosion.
