Folding the rear seatbacks
The back of the rear seat consists of two sections. Each of these sections can be folded independently of the other. If you need to remove the trunk shelf from the vehicle, press and hold the latch, then press down on the head restraints. Pull up the rear armrest.
Place the seat belts of the outer seats in the belt guides.
Pull the release lever on one or both sides and fold the seatbacks down onto the seat cushion.
To raise the seatbacks, they must be folded up and placed in an upright position until they click into place. Check that the seat belts of the outer seats are placed in the appropriate belt guides.
The seat backs are locked correctly if the two red markers on the side next to the release lever are not visible.
Attention. You can start driving the car only after the seat backs are securely fixed in their original position. Otherwise, there is a risk of injury, damage to the load or vehicle in the event of sudden braking or a collision.
The center seat belt may lock if the seatback is raised too quickly. To unlock the reel, retract or pull the belt about 20 millimeters and then release it.
