Checking the condition of the friction linings

To accurately control the thickness of the friction linings, they must be removed.

Remove brake pads.

With lining thickness (including metal plate) 7 mm. The pads have worn out and need to be replaced.

In practice, 1 mm of lining thickness corresponds to 1000 km of run under adverse conditions. Under normal conditions, they are much longer. Thus, with a thickness of 9 mm (including back plate) lining resource is at least 2000 km.

Install brake pads.
