Charging the battery

Do not short circuit battery circuits. If a short circuit occurs, the battery will overheat and may explode. Do not work near batteries with open flames. The acid is corrosive and should not come into contact with eyes, skin or clothing, in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Disconnect the wires from the battery.

Before charging, check the electrolyte level, top up with distilled water if necessary.

Remove battery plugs.

With a home charger, charge during the day. The battery can also be charged with a quick charger.

Attention: Fast battery charging should not become your habit. Batteries that are new or have not been used for a long time cannot be quickly charged.

After charging, check the battery.

Attention: The engine must not be run with the battery disconnected, as this will damage the electrical equipment.

Caution: Notes A-E do not apply to a maintenance-free battery.
