Jacking up the car

To perform many preventive and repair robots, the car must be raised. In workshops, this is usually done with a platform lift, but you can also lift the car with a jack. The vehicle may only be jacked up at the points shown in the figure.

In the case of work under the car, if it is not standing on the platform, it must be put on 4 stable front goats. Never work under the vehicle if it is not securely installed and could fall.

The vehicle lifting jack may only be installed at the points indicated in the figure, otherwise deformation of the bodywork cannot be ruled out.

Rubber or wood pads that can be used when lifting the vehicle to prevent damage to the bodywork.

Secure wheels that remain on the ground when lifting with wedges to prevent possible rotation. Do not rely on the handbrake, because in the process of some repair robots, it may move away

Raise the vehicle only on a flat, hard surface.

Attention: If the car needs to be raised on soft ground, then a wide board should be placed under the jack so that the weight is distributed over a larger area.

You can only lift an empty car.

Attention: Never lift the vehicle by the engine parts, gearbox and rear axle.
