The left handle is used to control the heater valve. The right handles are used to adjust the amount of incoming air and its distribution.
In the lowest position of the left handle, only cold air enters. When moving the handle up, the air temperature gradually increases.
When moving the right top handle up, the air flow is directed to the windshield and side windows, when moving down, to the side ventilation nozzles.
When moving the right lower handle up, air is supplied to the side ventilation nozzles, when moving down - to the area of the legs of the driver and passengers.
The heater fan is controlled by a rotary switch located to the right of the heater control knobs. The switch has three positions:
- extreme left: electric fan off;
- first fixed: low rotation speed of the electric fan;
- the second fixed: the average speed of rotation of the electric fan;
- third fixed: high rotation speed of the electric fan.
Outside air enters the cabin through two central nozzles with rotary shutters on the instrument panel. The amount of incoming air is regulated by the knob located to the left of the left nozzle. In the position of the handle with the mark down, air access through the nozzles is closed, and in the position with the mark up, it is completely open.
