Seat belts — removal and installation

Front

1. Remove the panel of finishing of the central rack.

2. Remove the bolt securing the bottom of the belt to the center post.

3. Pull out a seat belt through an aperture of a covering of the central rack.

4. Unscrew the bolt securing the inertial drum housing and remove it from the center post.

5. Unscrew the belt from the adjuster.

6. To remove the seat belt buckle, remove the seat as described in Chapter 28.



7. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.

Rear (Sedan)

8. Remove the rear seat pad and backrest (Chapter 28). Also remove the side trim.

9. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower (fixed) end of the strap to the floor.

10. Unscrew the belt from the regulator.

11. Unscrew the bolt securing the inertial drum device.

12. Pull the strap sideways out of the bottom quarter of the trim panel.



13. Unscrew a bolt and remove the lock of a seat belt.


14. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.

Rear (station wagon)

15. Remove the rear seat pad (Chapter 28).

16. Unscrew the bolt securing the lower (fixed) end of the strap to the floor.

17. Unscrew the belt from the regulator.

18. Remove the trim panels from under the rear triangular window of the passenger compartment and the wheel casing.

19. Where equipped, remove the luggage cover and the panel covering the roller channel (photo).







20. Unscrew the bolt securing the inertial drum and remove the belt.

21. Unscrew a bolt and remove locks of a seat belt.

22. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order.
