1. The system monitors fluid levels, brake pad wear and lamp condition. A set of six or seven warning lights on the dashboard relays information to the driver.
2. All warning lights should go out within a few seconds after the ignition is turned on, except for the brake light warning light, which will go out when the brake pedal is depressed.
3. The bulb failure indicator monitors the status of the headlight and taillight bulbs. In brackets on the indicator the status of the stop lamps is displayed.
4. The control unit display can be removed by removing the three screws on the back of the instrument panel.
5. The lamp sensor is located behind the fuse box. If the vehicle is equipped with a tow hitch, an additional lamp sensor is located behind the left rear trim panel.
6. Coolant and brake fluid level sensors and placed in the respective reservoir filler caps. A separate sensor is installed on the flushing fluid reservoir. The engine oil level sensor is located on the side of the sump.
