Generator — removal and installation

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Locate the electrical connections on the back of the generator and disconnect them.

3. Loosen the adjusting and pivot bolts, rotate the alternator towards the engine and remove the drive belt from the pulley (photo).



4. Remove adjusting and hinge bolts and get the generator. If necessary, unscrew the suspension from the block (photo).





5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Tension the drive belt as described in Section 2.
