Brake disc — removal and installation

Inspection

1. Check the tightness of the disc fixing screw. While rotating the disc, inspect it for deep scratches or grooves. If they are present, the disc surface must be sanded.



2. Check brake disc runout.



3. Check the thickness of the brake disc at several points with a micrometer. If the brake disc needs to be replaced, the brake disc of the other wheel must also be replaced.

Removing

1. Remove the brake pads and brake caliper.



2. To remove the front wheel brake disc, unscrew the fixing screw.



3. Remove the front brake disc.



4. To remove the rear wheel brake disc, unscrew the hand brake adjusting screw, unscrew the fixing screws.



5. Remove the rear brake disc.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
