The bottom line of the diagram indicates ground or negative connection; the numbers below this line are track numbers, which allows you to find circuits and elements using a key.

The line at the top of the diagram indicates a positive connection. The line marked with number 30 is always energized. The line marked with number 15 is energized only when the ignition is turned on.
