Fuel tank — removal and installation

Removing

1. Release pressure from the supply system.

2. Remove the rear right wheel housing insert.

Sedan Models

3. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (1) (2 – a fixing bolt of a fuel tank).

4. Disconnect the fuel and vent hoses from the fuel tank.

5. Establish a support under a fuel tank. Loosen the fixing nuts and bolts and remove the fixing strips. Remove the fuel tank.

Station wagon models

6. Remove the fuel pump cover and disconnect the connection connector.



7. Disconnect the fuel and vent hoses from the tee (indicated by an arrow) fuel tank.



8. Loosen the fixing nuts and bolts (arrow) and remove the fuel tank.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
