Transmission oil

Warm up the engine before draining the oil. The oil will drain much faster and there will be more chances for debris and sediment to merge with the oil.

Oil drain

1. Raise and secure the front of the vehicle.

2. Thoroughly clean the area around the filler plug. Unscrew the plug and remove the sealing washer.



3. Place a suitable container under the drain hole and unscrew the drain plug.

4. Drain the oil completely. Clean the drain and fill plugs.

Fill

1. Install new gaskets on the plugs and tighten them to the correct torque. Lower the car to the ground.

2. Fill with the correct brand of gear oil and check the oil level.

3. Drive a short distance and check the oil level again.

Examination

1. Install the car on a viewing hole.

2. If the engine has just been running, turn it off and wait 5 minutes.

3. Thoroughly clean the area around the filler plug. Unscrew the plug.

4. Insert a wire bent at a right angle into the hole. The oil level should be 9 mm below the edge of the filler hole.

5. Add oil if necessary.
