1. The front suspension is independent, with MacPherson struts, which are assemblies of a leaf spring and a telescopic shock absorber. The anti-roll bar, connected to the suspension struts by sheer rods, is installed in front of the lower suspension arms.
2. The rear suspension is also independent, with leaf springs, pneumatic telescopic shock absorbers, diagonal levers, anti-roll bar and adjustable torque rods. All components are mounted on the rear cross member, to which the final drive unit is also attached (see Section 8).
3. The power steering is installed on all models. The steering assembly consists of a steering gear with recirculating balls and a worm shaft, a pitman arm, a center tie rod, a swingarm and adjustable side tie rods. 6-cylinder models are equipped with speed-sensitive Servotronic power steering.
