Removing
1. Block the front wheels, then jack up the rear of the vehicle and place it on axle stands.
2. On models with a rear suspension stabilizer, disconnect the wiring from the rear vehicle pitch sensor. Put alignment marks on the sensor drive arm and anti-roll bar link, then push the link away from the ball joint on the drive arm.
3. Disconnect the wiring from the wheel speed sensors, then release the wiring from the brackets on the rear cross member.
4. Unfasten the vertical stabilizer bar links from the diagonal arms and remove the rubber pads (see illustration).
5. Support the final drive unit with a jack. Loosen the bolts securing the rear damper bracket to the underbody, then lower the final drive slightly to gain access to the stabilizer mounting clip bolts.
6. Turn out bolts of clips from a back cross member and remove them from the stabilizer. Move the stabilizer by the cross member and remove it from under the vehicle along with the tie rods.
7. Turn off bolts of fastening of vertical drafts to the stabilizer. If necessary, push the rubber pads out of the links and replace them using a hydraulic press.
Installation
8. Install in reverse order. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torque specifications.
