Vehicles with diesel engines. Check preheat and fuel systems.
The engine starts poorly or does not start at all
Fuse defective:
- electric fuel pump
- electronic injection system
- preheating systems
- Check fuse
Ignition system malfunction
- Contact a workshop for a system check of the engine management
Faulty engine control unit
- Check the engine control unit in the workshop
Faulty, contaminated fuel system
- Check fuel pump and lines
Starter turns too slowly
- Charge the battery. Check the power supply to the starter. Clean the contacts
The anti-theft system works. The engine starts, but after a while it stalls. At the same time, the anti-theft system warning light on the instrument panel lights up for a while
Do one of the following:
- A) insert the key into the ignition lock by turning it 90°.
- b) turn on the remote control near the receiving antenna (inside the car).
- V) insert the key into the ignition, removing it from the key fob (bundles).
- G) use the spare key.
- Replace the batteries in the remote control. If necessary, contact a workshop to read the codes registered by the self-diagnosis unit of the anti-theft system
