Rear crankshaft oil seal — removal and installation

1. Remove the flywheel from the crankshaft (see relevant chapter).

2. Using a suitable tool, press gland 1 out of the holder, taking care not to damage the sealing surfaces of the holder (see illustration).



3. Apply a white sealant to the working surface of the new stuffing box and stuff it into the hole in the holder with a mandrel 2, connecting to it the handle 4 KM-454-B with support 3 (see illustration).
