The downpipe of the muffler is attached to the exhaust manifold for petrol engines, and to the turbocharger for diesel turbocharged cars (see illustration 1.0, 1.0a, 1.0b). When repairing parts of the exhaust system, they can be replaced individually. Self-locking nuts and seals must always be replaced with new ones after each disassembly. Pipe hanger retaining rings and rubber pads should be checked for damage and cracks and replaced if necessary.

9 - rear muffler with exhaust pipe. For vehicles with a body «station wagon» The rear muffler has three mounts. Vehicles with a 2.5 liter engine have one exhaust pipe

When installing new pipes of the exhaust system, it is recommended to replace all fasteners with new ones.
