Rear muffler — replacement

1. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the mounting clamp (see illustration), and then detach the muffler by releasing it from the suspension cushion. To release the muffler from the pillows, remove the clips from them.



2. Heat the exhaust pipe joint with a torch or blowtorch, place a heat shield asbestos shield on the fuel tank, and disconnect the rear muffler by rotating it.

3. If there is no burner, then cut the pipes and knock them down.

4. Install a new muffler and insert it into the rubber cushion. Straighten the parts in relation to each other and fit along the contour of the bottom of the body. Make sure that the suspension pads are loaded evenly loaded and not deformed.

Attention! The gap between the pipes of the exhaust system and other parts of the vehicle must be at least 25 mm.

5. Secure the suspension pads with clips.

6. Tighten bolts of a connecting collar of a back exhaust pipe with application of force of 20 Nanometers.
