Air filter — removal and installation

1. Disconnect the supply air duct from the filter housing by loosening the fastening clamp.

2. Vehicles with a 2.2L petrol engine. Disconnect the fuel tank vent valve from the bottom of the filter housing.

3. Press clips 1 and remove the air filter cover (see illustration).



4. Remove the air filter housing from the rubber support 1 (see illustration).



5. Disconnect the air hose from the intake pipe.

6. Unscrew the bolts 1 and 2 securing the intake duct to the front cross member by removing the radiator grille and fog lamp (see illustration).



The air filter is installed in the reverse order of removal.
