Vehicles with V6 engine
Removing
1. Disconnect air hose 1 and hose 2 by loosening the clamps (see illustration).
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
3. Unscrew the bolt 1 and disconnect the tube 2 from the valve of the exhaust gas recirculation system, holding the branch pipe with a wrench from turning (see illustration).
4. Disconnect plug 1 from the EGR valve and plug 2 from the knock sensor (see illustration).
5. Disconnect the plug 1 of the throttle valve potentiometer as well as the cooling hose 2 from the throttle body (see illustration).
Attention! Collect the escaping liquid in a container.
6. Disconnect low pressure hoses 3 from the vacuum brake booster (see illustration 6.5).
7. Disconnect hoses 1 crankcase ventilation, as well as low pressure hoses (see illustration).
8. Remove the plugs 1 and unscrew the fixing bolts of the intake manifold under them (see illustration).
9. Give an inlet collector upwards and remove it. Make sure you have o-rings (6 pcs.) between the intake manifold and the intake manifold.
Attention! Plug the inlet with a clean rag. Foreign bodies entering the intake system can cause significant engine damage.
10. Disconnect the plug and low pressure hoses from the flap 1 of the intake tract (see illustration).
11. Remove the low pressure hose 2 from the fuel pressure regulator (see illustration 6.10).
Installation
12. Install six new O-rings 1 (see illustration).
When installing intake manifold 1, the two guide pins (see arrows in illustration 6.0) should go into the holes.
Install the dismantled parts in the reverse order of removal.
