Removing
1. Remove the auxiliary drive belt (see related section), having previously marked the direction of rotation on it, so that it can be correctly oriented during installation.
2. Install the socket with the extension rod on the crankshaft sprocket bolt and rotate the crankshaft so that the notch on the rim of its pulley is aligned with the index on the cover.
3. Remove the small bolts securing the pulley to the crankshaft sprocket and remove the shifter pulley. If necessary, block the crankshaft by holding the sprocket mounting bolt with a suitable socket.
Installation
4. Make sure the crankshaft sprocket mark is still aligned with the mark on the oil pump housing, then bring the crankshaft pulley into position. Align the notch on the pulley rim with the pointer, then install the pulley on the sprocket and tighten the bolts with the tightening torque specified in the Specifications.
5. Install the auxiliary drive belt (see related section), using the mark made before removal.
